Graça neighbourhood

Graça is located on the highest hill of Lisbon. It is one of the oldest and most beautiful in the city. It is the perfect place to start a city tour in the famous tram 28: from Graça to Martim Moniz and Estrela.

GRAÇA - LISBON

Graça was formed after the great 1755 earthquake and established its identity within the 19th century. A few places to visit nearby:

  • Alfama

Alfama is the oldest district of Lisbon, spreading on the slope between the São Jorge Castle and the Tagus river.

  • National Pantheon

A 17th-century church, Igreja de Santa Engrácia, converted into the National Pantheon in the 20th century.

  • Senhora do Monte viewpoint

"Miradouro da Senhora do Monte". Due to its high location, offers one of the best panoramic views over Lisbon.
